Overcoming some very challenging conditions, Sarah Fien and Jason Shortis managed to outlast their challengers at last month’s Ironman Japan Triathlon.
Australia’s Sarah Fien (pronounced ‘feen’), the one time pro cyclist and cross country runner delivered a sensational performance at Ironman Japan to claim her first Ironman title.
With his third Ironman win after a close battle with defending champion Peter Kropko, Jason Shortis has now won as many Ironman titles as he has finished a close second, Nick Munting reports.
