The Foster Grant & Ironman Partnership
Foster Grant is proud to be the exclusive eyewear sponsor of Ironman, a relationship that has been going strong for over ten years. The relationship continues to grow stronger as Foster Grant recently signed on to be the title sponsor for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Clearwater, FL in November. Foster Grant is also a sponsor of several other Ironman events, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. We at Foster Grant are excited to be part of an event that grows in popularity year after year and extends to all corners of the globe. The team at Ironman has also been very helpful in providing us with research on today's athlete to ensure that our eyewear collection is up to their standards.
We sell our products at national retailers throughout the US and Canada. Foster Grant Ironman sunglasses can be found at mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart and Target, national drug store chains like Walgreens and Rite Aid, and grocery store chains such as Publix and Kroger. Ironman sunglasses can also be found at specialty sports stores such as The Sports Authority and Academy Sports. The products in our specialty accounts include 100% UVA/UVB protection and 2.0 mm Polycarbonate de-centered lenses that are shatter resistant. These lenses will flex upon contact rather than shattering and the de-centered lenses are the best quality lens material free of the imperfections that may distort your vision. Our metal frames are made of 100% Nickel Silver for maximum durability while our plastic frames have extra-soft nose and temple pads for a comfortable, non-slip fit. We also offer brilliant color mirror lenses for an aggressive sport appearance.
Our collections in specialty sports stores range from $25-$45. We offer Infra-red lenses that reduce eye fatigue, shatter-resistant lenses, and spring hinges for added comfort. Our higher priced product includes an anti-fog and multi-layered mirror coating that reduce glare. Our premium price points include IronView lenses that provide panoramic vision and allow you to see 210 degrees of peripheral coverage as well as reducing eye fatigue.
