World Triathlon Corporation Announces Final Standings for 2005 Ford Ironman World Championship

WTC recently received results from drug tests completed at the 2005 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and all test results were negative. Therefore, WTC will now finalize professional standings. The 2005 event served as the 16^th consecutive year of drug testing at the world championship. USADA, contracted by WTC, tested a total of 20 professional athletes; the largest number of athletes tested to date. All male and female athletes placing 1^st- 10^th participated in drug testing at the world championship event and will now be receiving prize money. The new prize purse and professional standings are outlined below.

5^th Cameron Widoff	$15,000
6^th Chris MacCormack	$12,500
